I never grew up in a kampong and I never thought I missed out on anything.  Haha…but one visit to my new friend’s kampong seems to have changed my opinion.

You are now reading how a fairy tale became reality.  We had the tremendous oppportunity to teach Japanese cooking to a Malay village in Malaysia.  The family we were with, never had sushi before, never had any Japanese food before and imagine how I feel to be the one to introduce them this wonderful cuisine.
