Anime comes to Harajuku

Image is a powerful thing.  This is one of those that conveys strong personality and colors.  A little contrast to all the nicey food photos we have in our community.  Harajuku is living up to its name once again.

The look of anticipation

You know that look on our faces?  After a long dreadful day at the office, in and out of seemingly unending meetings after meetings. What would you grave for at the end of such a day? When you are ready to leave the office and willfully look away from the pile of documents on your

Meguro madness in Tsukiji

This trip to Tokyo we tried a different sushi restaurant at Tsukiji.  I think sushi dai has probably gotten too commercialized.  They are listed in every Tokyo guide book in every language known to humanity thus the crazy line that takes away your sanity.  We were there like 630am and the queue is unbelieveable..and they are all tourists…mainly from

Come on Tokyo, I am waiting

Weather man: Overcast and light rain

That’s pretty much sums up our Tokyo trip this week. We narrowly missed a 6.8 earthquake but we can’t escape from the drizzle.  Thank God for the concept of 100Yen shops because we all kept ourselves warm and dry with our own 100yen brolly. Weather like this reminds me of Vancouver.
