Traditional Japanese Dessert

A trip to Japan would not be complete without dessert. Here’s what I had at “R-Style Cafe” in Omote Sando Hills, just down the road from Harajuku Station. The building was really cool too with a “sloping design” that basically allow you to walk from the top floor to the ground floor in a spiral

Sushi @ Shibuya…

Who says you need to go to Tsujiki market for good sushi? =). After queuing up for 10 min, I had good sushi (2 plates of it heheh heheh) at the basement of Tokyo Dept Store which is next to the Shibuya station and at a good price too!

After the TENDON…comes the RAMEN

We went to UENO park to catch the sakuras in full bloom…. it was great. Here’s some nice shots. See another here: img_0832.jpg

TENDON…Finally..

During the last trip with Sinma and gang we didnt managed to eat TENDON in Asakusa due to time and stomach capacity constraint. This time… there will be no mistake……After queuing for 25 min, last year’s lapse was rectified. =)

Egg Rice?

Yakitori

Followed my friends to Azabu-Juban, which is near Roppongi, looking for this supposed good place for Yakitori and other grilled stuff. We actually walked past it without realising and later managed to double back after asking the locals. It was called “Abe-Chan” and they actually have 2 outlets in the area. We queued up for

Making Soba

Went exploring the other levels in TOBU, there was this restaurant where everyone can see how soba was kneaded… I was amazed by how fine he could have cut the dough and how delicate his touch was throughout the kneading processes.
