No you are not seeing double. This is a shot of the food notes prepared by J and the actual store we found at Thong Lor. There got to be more about BKK than the usual MBK, Siam Sq or Paragon so armed with our notes for the entire trip, we went in search of good food [...] Not exactly the Venice you thought but rather a Venice of the east. Here’s me enjoying a bowl of beehoon soup (like vietnamese pho) The seller spoke teochew so managed to churn up a conversation with her in my limited teochew slang. The food is nothing to shout about but why not for the fun and [...] There are many things to see, try at the floating market but there are just too many tourists. We were early but when activities peak at abt 9am, boats move by the inches and have I mention, it is hot and you would be perspiring. Bring a towel if you can. Have a good look at this sign if you are planning to visit the floating market. There are dozens of boat vendors you’ll meet on your way there and they charge 3-4 times what’s stated for various “add-on”. Go all the way till you are at the “pier”, and right before a little bridge you’ll find this [...] Right after our trip to Tokyo, I found myself in Bangkok.
